Spain has always been underachievers and I would say nobody rooted them for winning the Euro 2008 tournament. It's just amazing but the real heroes are David Villa & Fernando Torres.

I'm a fan of Fernando Torres. Liverpool was lucky to have him. Benitez seemed to be able to bring the best out of Torres and made him the preferred forward for Spain. Raul has been kept to the sidelines due to Torres inclusion. Maybe Benitez should bring in more players to Liverpool, then we might have more national squad players for Spain.
